TYKUN XII made its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, the new flagship of TYKUN, a division of the MED Group dedicated to super tenders. Measuring 12.90 meters, the TYKUN XII evolves the concept of the TYKUN X on a larger platform, designed to combine performance, autonomy, and versatility, from day boating to multi-day cruises.

TYKUN XII played an operational role, serving throughout the Monaco Yacht Show as the official tender of Royal Yacht International, a broker based in the Principality, for activities and transfers related to the event. The project is based on the aluminum construction of the hull and deck and the know-how developed by the MED Group in units for military use, law enforcement, and special forces.

The project is signed by Tommaso Spadolini, starting from the concept developed with Benedetta Iovane, while the design of the hull and structures was entrusted to Carlo Bertorello.
In the TYKUN XII, we worked on the balance between increasing volumes and the need to maintain the strong and technical identity of the range. The larger dimensions, emphasizes Tommaso Spadolini, architect, gave us greater freedom in designing the spaces, but also the responsibility to maintain proportions consistent with the sporty character of the vessel. The result is a project immediately recognizable as TYKUN.

The presence of TYKUN XII at the Monaco Yacht Show, where it operated concretely in the field for Royal Yacht International, best represents the philosophy of our Group – says Marco Galimberti, CEO of the MED Group –: bringing into the world of luxury boating the know-how developed in units born for military engineering and the most demanding uses, combining it with performance and reliability, but also with the elegance and comfort of great Made in Italy design. The debut of the flagship, along with the second consecutive Blue Wake Award for attention to sustainability and the product life cycle, confirms that the path taken by TYKUN and the MED Group is the right one to define the new standards of luxury boating.

TYKUN XII is available in the High Bow and Low Bow versions, a choice that modifies the distribution of spaces both above and below deck.
The model presented in Monaco was in the High Bow configuration, recognizable by the higher bow profile and greater internal volume, as well as the large sunbathing area at the bow. The Low Bow version has a walkaround setup, with a bow that can be equipped with seating and a table, facing a more compact internal volume.

TYKUN XII, second consecutive Blue Wake Award
The ceremony took place on September 23, and TYKUN received the Blue Wake Award for the second consecutive year in the Tenders / Water Toys category. The recognition was awarded to the TYKUN X and TYKUN XII models for the comprehensive assessment of their life cycle, as part of the process that led to the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The first EPD in the world for a motorized nautical vehicle
The Blue Wake Award is linked to the registration of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) of TYKUN, noted as the first EPD in the world obtained for a motorboat. The EPD transparently and verified presents the results of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
conducted on the entire life cycle of the vessel: from the procurement of raw materials to production and outfitting, from use to maintenance until the end of life. The process was managed by SEA INNOVHUB, verified by RINA, and registered in the International EPD System.

The EPD for us does not represent a destination, but a measurement from which to start. Today, explains Marco Galimberti, CEO of MED – we know the impact of the product we build and therefore have a data base to work on: identifying different materials, modifying processes, intervening on components, and progressively seeking solutions that allow us to reduce that impact. It is an engineering path that we want to apply to the TYKUN family and, in perspective, also to our professional constructions.
