A more compact expression of performance, craftsmanship, and versatility, the Kerbedanz Maxspor GR8 41 MM is a 41 mm sports chronograph that brings together the three fundamental dimensions of watchmaking KERBEDANZ: Haute Horlogerie, micromechanical spectacle, and métiers d’art. Since the introduction of the MAXSPOR GR8 at 46 mm, KERBEDANZ unveils a new, more compact, and technically evolved interpretation of its monopusher chronograph: the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm.

The new model is not merely a resizing of the original model; the independent Maison based in Neuchâtel took the opportunity of this new generation to rethink proportions, movement architecture, chronometric performance, and decorative approach. On the MAXSPOR GR8 , only two counters dedicated to measuring minutes and seconds remain visible. The space traditionally occupied by the third counter has been dedicated to something much more fundamental: the beating heart of the mechanical watch itself, the balance wheel and the hairspring.

The regulating organ has been brought to the front of the watch through an architecture designed by Aram Petrosyan, Chief Design Officer and co-founder of KERBEDANZ. To make its presence even more spectacular, the architecture of the regulating organ has been inverted on the dial side, offering an unusually direct perspective on its oscillations. The new automatic caliber KRB14-2 consists of 343 components and 33 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour (4 Hz), and ensures a power reserve of 48 hours. For this new generation, the movement is equipped with a balance wheel regulated by screws, allowing for greater precision in adjusting the regulating organ and optimizing chronometric performance.

Vahé Vartzbed, CEO of Kerbedanz

The original MAXSPOR GR8 already expressed one of our strongest ideas: to bring the regulating organ to the dial side and transform the mechanical heartbeat of the watch into part of its visual identity. With the new 41 mm version, the challenge was to preserve this spectacular architecture within significantly more compact proportions while pushing the concept even further. We refined the movement with a balance wheel regulated by screws, introduced a more sophisticated guilloché dial, and improved the overall versatility of the watch. The result remains unmistakably MAXSPOR GR8, but in a more mature, precise, and wearable expression.
