Bentley presents the world premiere of the all-new Torcal in London, which becomes the fourth model line of the brand.
- Range of up to 600 km (WLTP), with charging from 10 to 80% in 16 minutes at 400 kW (~160 km in seven minutes).
- Handcrafted propulsion sound performed by musicians and inspired by the rhythm of a 6.75-liter Bentley V8 to enhance the driving experience.
- New materials and textures for the interiors extend the Bentley palette like never before, with a clear focus on sustainability.
- Launch both as a base model and as a sportier S version.

“For 107 years, Bentleys have been incredibly complete automobiles, capable of offering the most effortless performance, extraordinary comfort, refined British craftsmanship with the finest natural materials, and a soundtrack with soul. Our new Torcal sets extraordinary parameters in every fundamental area” With these words, the President and CEO of Bentley, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, unveiled one of the most significant innovations in the long history of the company.

A Bentley in every aspect of its design, technology, craftsmanship, materials, and sustainability represents a benchmark for future Bentleys, regardless of the type of propulsion.
The four levels of design
«When we design a Bentley, we consider how people naturally perceive an object. You don’t experience a car all at once. There is a hierarchy in what you see and understand, which we describe through four important levels,» comments Robin Page.
The first concerns proportions. The long wheelbase of the Torcal, the reduced overhangs, and the proud front create an imposing presence and embody the “vertical elegance“, one of the guiding principles of Bentley design. Together with the principle of the “infinite hood,” these elements emphasize the length of the car, its presence, and its unmistakable Bentley character.

The second focuses on the graphic elements of the car, establishing identity and expression, particularly through the front. References to iconic Bentley models, especially the Continental T, are reinterpreted through advanced lighting technology and a distinctive illuminated diamond grille. At the rear, clean and essential graphics create the “prestigious shield,” a design principle first explored with the Concept Car EXP 15.
The third concerns the language of surfaces: the sculpture, the volumes, and how light interacts with the car as the observer moves around it. The Torcal deliberately reduces superfluous lines, allowing its surfaces and proportions to create emotion and character. This is evident in the powerful rear flanks. The cabin narrows towards the rear, allowing the body to develop over the rear wheels and creating what the team calls the “resting beast,” a sense of strength and energy contained in the sculpture.

The fourth is detail, which reveals another layer of craftsmanship as occupants approach the car. The diamond pattern becomes a recurring thread throughout the Torcal, sometimes clearly expressed, other times abstract in surfaces, textures, and weaves.
Performance: true to Bentley tradition
First Bentley with 100% electric propulsion, the Torcal delivers performance familiar to brand enthusiasts, combining effortless power and precision. With up to 888 hp and the highest torque ever recorded by a Bentley (1,350 Nm), the Torcal accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds (0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds). This level of performance has been chosen with the awareness that most customers find acceleration more extreme than this uncomfortable.
